John Charlton - Director
System design, project management, contract management,
control system programming.
John founded Audiovisual Projects Ltd in 2007 and has more than 30 years experience as a leader in the AV sector
both in New Zealand and overseas.
He has been an electronics systems and projects engineer for top-flight UK technology
firms and was responsible for creating the first video wall in the USA at Disneyworld in Florida.
After being system
designer for the sound department of the Royal Opera House in London, John returned to New Zealand and joined Carson
Group Project Management.
In this role, John was Technology Contracts Manager for the acclaimed Te Papa, Museum of New
Zealand project, overseeing the technical consultancy team and management of the supply and installation contracts for
the exhibitions and Time Warp ride.
From 1998 until 2003 John was Projects Director for Futureworks in Wellington before
taking on the management of their Auckland branch until he set up Audiovisual Projects Ltd.

Yvonne Durling - Technical Support
Yvonne has been with Audiovisual Projects since 2008.
Her passion for theatre and audio technology lead
her to join the company.
She is involved in the day to day running of the company
as well as touch panel design, CAD drawings and providing
support in system design, commissioning and
acceptance
testing.
She is currently studying for the InfoComm International
CTS qualification.
